shrink freezes and doesn't work

When i open my dvdshrink, the program runs and the backup button seems to be continuously pressed somehow. I try to click on other option or close the window or move the window, but its completely frozen. I could only close it by ending task.

The program worked perfectly fine before but then this happpened. And so i started using dvd shrink on my other computer and it worked perfectly fine and this happened a few days later. What could be causing it? I tried reinstalling it but it doesn't work.

shrink alone will not work with some of the latest copy protection & sometimes just "freezes" you will need other programs to remove the copy protection before you shrink. you can use AnyDVD in the background whilst you shrink (this is not a free program but you can get a 21 day trial from slysoft.com) AnyDVD is worth the money if you do buy it after your trial.
other options are DVD Decrypter dvd, fab decrypter, VOBBLANKER & DVD43 these are all free programs. you can find tutorials here at afterdawn for all theses programs.
what movie causes it to freeze?

The program freezes when there's no dvd in the dvd-rom. I start up the program like i usually do, but when the program is loaded, the full disc backup button is held down and the program freezes. The program is still running but nothing i click with my mouse will work. Not sure how this happened on both of my computers.

This problem can be caused by any number of things. Here is a list of what may cause your system to crash/restart or freeze with Shrink.
