Hey, I really hope you guys can help me with this one. I have tried everything to run the eLoader to get it running. I have a 2.6 psp and I followed all the instructions about loading the programs and the files, but when i try to load the eLoader, all it does is load the saved GTA game attached to the eLoader. Can someone help remedy this? It would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds as if you,ve got your hands on a patched GTA:LCS game unfortunatly, underneath the game controller there should be two disc symbols one of them is the update, if it says 2.60 you got a patched version, and its no good to ya.
So take it back and search through the bargin bins for another GTA:LCS this time it should say 2.00 as its update and this is the one you want.

As i posted above mate, just rummage round the bargin bins at your local games store and find one with a 2.00 update.

The following are for the EU/UK versions of the game:
GTA: LCS (Pre 2.6 version):
ULES-00151#
GTA: LCS (Patched 2.6 Version):
ULES-00151#2
As you can tell, the actual ULES numbers only vary by the added "2" on the end of the code. However, the serial number which you can find underneath the ULES number on the spine of the UMD case. Another slight variation that is also on the spine of the UMD case. The18 logo in a red circle is present in the pre 2.6 version, but in the patched 2.6 game the 18 red circle logo isn't present on the spine.

thankyou so much for this guide, its useful as hell. Im still not sure about downgrading my psp, i read that you didn't either, what are your reasons for not downgrading?
and also, would you be kind enough to share that Muti Media Player with me as well?
cheers. a.

Thanks Seujorge, i have downgraded, but it took abit of dutch courage to do it at first, (came home from a night out and did it!) but i only did it for full res 480x272 AVC movies.
I,ll gladly send you the movie app you want just pm me your email.
If Sony did open 480x272 res with there native player i would upgrade, well...maybe! ;)
Here is a link for that Video Player mate: http://dl.qj.net/PSPlayerMT-For-PSP-Gaming-Consoles-PSP-Homebrew-...

that was the link i had to PM you for? if so, thanks.
i was also wondering, i downloaded the super amrio bros rom, but it's not possible to play the game chronologically, is it? because all the worlds are separate files?
and its also normal that quite some games dont do anything, right?
thnx again.
edit:
whats the difference between PSPlayerMT% and PSPlayerMT, since the rar-file contains these two folders, each containing the file EBOOT.PHP. should I just drop either one of these files into the GAME folder sothat i can open it with eloader?

Yeah mate drop both PSplayerMT and PSplayerMT% into the game folder and you can place you movies into any folder you want.
Some games dont work on there respective emu,s Another World is an example it just wont load.
Am not sure what your saying about the order of the mario games...you can play them any order you want.

Cool, cheers mate, I'll start dropping the media player on my psp in a few moments..
With Mario i mean: if i wanna play the game it was played on the console, in it original order (cos theyre all alphabetically ordered now, and of course i dont know what order was the original one).
Is this possible? Is there a file i can open that will bundle them together..?
Also, sometimes the game freezes when there's a popup with a message from browser (which is at amost every world) but the music does keep on going, it just appears not to respond to anything, any idea on this?
Thanks so much again.

right, sudds i installed the mediaplayer, opened it, found afile which i think is a DivX, but not completely sure.. and my psp turnd itself off. Is this due to incompatibility with the video file.. or what?
it doesnt matter if the aspect ratio is not like the psp's right? i dont have to do anything to change the files, do i?
cheers
edit. the first one was a 600 mb file, so i tried a 4 mb file, the first one stopt initialising at 377, the second one at 167, and then this time the psp, too, swithed off.
rats!
plus:
is it possible to run the sega megadrive emu on a fw 2.5? cos the file said "DGEN-for-PSP-v1.40-for-1.00-PSP-" does this refer to fw 1.5 only?

There is a limit to what bitrate the PSPlayerMT can play, and resolution can play its part as well, i,ll get back to you with more info, its been along while since i,ve used it.
I dont think 1.40 works through Eloader my friend, 1.20 does but it randomly crashes, 0.70 is abit stable but there is no state save.
Catch 22...

You need to have an unpatched version of GTA:LCS (mentioned at start of guide) to run homebrew on 2.01 -> 2.60, other than that, just downgrade.

dunno but it could be the patched version only reason i can think
of, the best way to determine whether its 2.0 or 2.6 is to stick it in your psp and see.
