Dont worry mate you havent messed it up, but the only way to downgrade a 3.03 offical firmware PSP is by using the unpatched version of GTALCS, with the hen downgrader.

cheers sudds.
I am trying to get a loan of the game , otherwise I will have to try for a second hand one. This all started while I was trying to put 3.03 0e-a on the psp for my boss, I did mine with no problems but for some reason his was not working the same way even though they are both 1.5.
I will give you a shout back when I get the game if thats ok.

Thanks mate thats a nice offer.
I am waiting for a guy in work to get back to me, hopefully I can get a copy somewhere. Had to give my boss a loan of my psp for the rest of the week while I try to get his back to 1.5 I miss it...........

No don't have a ps3 yet.
I have an Xbox, a 360, a Wii, a ps2 and a psp.
Girlfriend would kill me if I came home with another console!!!!!!

thats not a bad idea.
unfortunately my g/f uses the ps2 for that singstar karaoke thing she would kill me if I sold it.
I might get a ps3 in a few months when the hype calms down.

Have you got one? I heard mixed stories about it.
I like the 360 and there are plenty of games out for it.
Don't know if I need a ps3 just yet, but would love one...

Yeah i have one, and a 360.
Since i got the PS3, i havent played the 360 at all.
Microsoft made so many mistakes... well not so much mistakes, but... the PS3 is a multimedia device, internet, movies, games, music, ability to run another OS like Linux or WINXP (through linux) add an external HD (FAT32), bluetooth, SuperCD, HDMI, true HD, i could go on but me fingers are gettin tired! lol

hi sudds,
Good news, finally got the bosses psp fixed.
Bought GTA online and managed to downgrade it and upgrade it to 3.03 oeb
I am having a problem with my own psp now though.
I had 3.03 oe-b on it and decided to upgrade to 3.40 oe-a.
Most games work on it fine but I have found that 2 of my fav emu's don't
work. The C64 one (that you helped me to get working ages ago) and the spectrum one are not working. When I click on the icons they try to load and the screen just goes blank. I have them in game 150 folder and also have a few other emu's, mame and snes and they work fine.
Any ideas.

Hows it goin mate.
Thats a funny one alright... am not sure, ave never used them emus with 3.40OE-A.
Is it a split eboot? As in 1.50?
Or have you tried combining them, or used the V1.00 version... if there is one...

panic over, got the c64 one working again.
Downloaded a different version of d64 and it worked fine.
Not bothered with the spectrum one.

Should be getting a ps3 in a couple of weeks so I will probably be in touch when I feck that up aswell.

Hi Sudds.
Got my ps3 and as expected I am having problems straight away.
Its a 20gb Jap version and I think the firmware is 1.54?
Anyway it seems to be stuck on a wired connectio to the net, I just can't find how to change it to wireless?> I have my ps3 hooked up no problem.
Any ideas?

Sorry B, the 20GB model doesnt come with wireless, so you,ll have too hardwire it to your router.

Shite I don't believe it.
I knid of rushed in coz I got a bargain, apart from the wireless is the 20gb jap version ok?
I havent checked ps2 games yet but I still have my old ps2.
Where can I download Tekken 5 from and do I have to pay for it?
Somebody said to me about downloading it for free and transferring it to ps3 via pro duo stick.
There was no manual with the ps3 so I havent a clue what it can do.
Is there any sticky on the site with some tips and tricks.
Sorry for all the quesions I usually have a fair idea of things but am not clued in to the ps3 at all...

Its grand mate, nothing wrong with it.
You can add a bigger HD anyway, or an external one formatted as FAT32, but as you know it cant store a file bigger than 4gig.
There was a hack so to speak for Tekken5 but it still involved money.
Tekken Hack.
If your stuck at all B, ask all the questions you want mate. ;)

you are going to regret saying that!!!!
I have loads of problems.
When trying to hook up to my laptop via the lan I am getting " an error occured while resolving the name with the server (807010012)
I setup using manual and getting the info by running cmd and ipconfig on my laptop (vista) I am not 100% sure about the dns, do I need them?
This is wrecking my head already

Have you tried automatic settings yet?
You,ll have to set the connection on the laptop to share its internet.

Create another connection on your laptop so it has 2 connections. Many laptops have a built in wireless networking card and an ethernet port etc.
Use your laptop to make a wireless connection to your router then you enable connection sharing in the properties of the ethernet port and plug that into your other device, PS3 in this case, and that should work.
Or create an adhoc between the laptop and PS3. Next, on the laptop setup internet sharing - that should do it. The only reason anyone would want to do that though, is if all they had is dialup. That could drag the servers down.

Can I ask you how come there are ps3 games on the torrent sites?
Is there a way of playing packups already?
Also is there a way of downloading tekken on my pc and transferring it to the ps3 or any other games you can download?
