I just like to know if a guide is out on how to shrink the main movie only and leaving out menu and extras.

This member has a great guide, look at various topics that deal with Shrink.
Main movie is easy though. After you load the movie, hit re-author.
Drag the main movie title over to the left side of the screen, check your audio boxes in the compression tab for any unwanteds, then backup as usual.
