Hi all,

I am new to this game (DVD recording) and have been having some problems (various people on here have already helped me with these) but I now have a new problem.

I have downloaded a file, and have converted it with DIVx to DVD converter, which I would then burn with Nero v6. The file is now too big. When I open Nero it says that the file is 5.4gb, but when i've gone into DVD shrink it says it's 4.9gb.

This is the first time i've used DVD shrink so here goes: I've analysed it (which took about 1hour) then I went to backup (presuming that this would burn it onto my disk) but it said that it would take 66hours to do. Is this right, or am I doing something wrong.

Any help would be much appretiated.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

My Secondry channel was on PIO on device 0, changed this, but now it takes 50hours to encode.

Any other ideas?

I have to ask, are you exagerating? Because even on a low end computer that seems unprobable. Shrink doesn't burn. It's will just rip it to the HD, you need somehting else to burn. Andy by analysis do you mean the quick analysis at the beginning or the the analysis right before the encode?
