I have a question about dvd shrink & copyright protected movies. (Please help)

When i use DVD shrink to copy a movie something popped up and it said something along the lines of "please specify the region intended for this dvd" and it lets u pick usa,australia, etc etc... and i click united states then it goes ahead with the rip, is this okay or should i not put that? .. Cause what i thought was dvdshrink dont decrypt movies or get rid of the protection... or am i wrong? any help would be appreciated.

A)if the movie was a U.S. movie, then you did the right thing
B)dvd shrink does remove copy protections, but not every kind, so it's not perfect at it.

I usually use the DVD Decrypter first, make them region free then shrink them, I have never had a problem since that decrypter is awesome, and fast.

Some good tools to get (if you don't already have em) are DVDFab Decrypter , and VOB Blanker...they handle all the DVD copy protection, then you can run it the movie through DVD Shrink , or Nero recode (your personal choice)..
