Hello, everyone. I have been using dvd shrink and dvd decrypter for a while but a few weeks ago, a downloaded and installed nero smart. Any way I tryed to back up the movie Zorro and it did'nt let me. Then I tryed to back up another movie and the same. The problem is when I'm using DVD Shrink, about 20 minutes after i click the icon back up, everything looks normal and smooth and sudenly the computer shuts off by itself. Please help me. with this one. I would really appreaciate your Help.

Open your case and clean out all of the dust bunnies and make sure that your fans are operating properly, transcoding is very CPU intensive and can heat up a puter pretty good. You need to keep it cool.

I don't believe nero has anything to do with your problem.

Zorro has copy protection on it that shrink can't handle, it's going to need a little help ripping this DVD. Download the latest version of DVDFab decrypter and use it to rip the video files to your HDD. Download VobBlanker and process the files created by DVDFab with vobblanker (you'll need to create a seperate folder for these files). Run DVDShrink and open the files created by vobblanker, reauthor the movie keeping just the main title and 5.1 AC3 english audio channel, have shrink create a ISO image file and burn to disk using DVDdecrypter.

The other thing to consider is that if the pc is shutting down and rebooting while using DVDShrink, you could have a possible overheating issue, shrink is very cpu hungry and makes that processor really work hard. Check to make sure all your case fans are working properly, remove any dust on the fans and internal hard ware (open that case to check). Worst case, your powersupply is intermittently failing and you'll need to purchase a new one.

try using Nero 6.0 and if check out slysofts AnyDVD this will dycrype as soon as u put ur dvd in the drive
