Ok heres one for all you DVD Shrink experts...i have trouble with my 3.2 it takes longer than normal to shrink, now...here is the catch i have also been using 2.2 that gets past alot of the copy problems like fog resident evil and alot of others...i have always used these, i have burned well over enough to know that they dont cause each other problems....and when i do the same disc in 2.2 it works normal, ....so i clicked the preview tab in 3.2 to wATCH IT WHILE IT SHRINKS AND THE MOVIE STARTS THEN STOPS REPEATEDLY...IT DOES NOT DO THIS IN 2.2....HELP ME PLEASE I LIKE BEING ABLE TO JUST let Nero take over right away in 3.2 i need to get back to normal

DVD Shrink is not being updated anymore. It will not handle the newer encryptions. Use DVDFab Decrypter to ripp the files to your HDD first and then process with Shrink/Nero.

Try also using DVD Decrypter to rip and decrypt the files to your hdd then load them into DVD Shrink and shrink the dvd.

Here's another very simple thing to try, because simple is always were you should start.

To bypass this just rip with DVDdecrypter 3.5.4.0 to an .iso image (run decrypter in ISO read mode) then open the .iso with dvdshrink and process it (choose: file--open--iso disk image). Reauthor the movie files to backup just the main movie and AC3 5.1 english audio channel. You can then tell shrink to autoburn with DVDdecrypter or Nero.

If this fails then use DVDFab decrypter to rip the files to your HDD and use shrink to open and process the files as described above. If shrink won't open the files, then you need to process them thru vobblanker first then open the newly created files produced by vobblanker using shrink and process as described above.

Will try those methods thanks for the info, what i dont understand though is why its is just now happening i have burned over 1600 disc, currently working on the angel disc, it is taking about 10 to 15 minutes longer than it used to, and it doesnt do this when i use dvdshrink 2.2, are there any programs like shrink where i can start the shrink process and then it burns right away also? i want to do both steps with one click

You can burn on the fly with Nero, but you would need AnyDVD running in the background. This is not a recommended method as many coasters can be made this way.

You can also try shrinkto5, its somewhat like dvdshrink and includes a burner. Here's a link....
