dvd shrink will not recognize fuji dvd+r dl

dvd shrink will not recognize my fuji dvd+r double layer discs. It works fine with single layer. but only recognizes the double layer as a cd-r. I've updated drive firmware, still no help.. Any suggestions?

If burning to DL media, I believe it's best to have shrink create an ISO image and manually burn to disk using DVDdecrypter or ImgBurn. You can also use DVD Decrypter in iso read mode to rip to the hdd creating an iso image, then use shrink to open the image (file--open disk image), reauthor the movie if you want to remove extras, have shrink create an iso image file and save it to the hdd for manually burning with decrypter or Imgburn.

DVDdecrypter or ImgBurn are better at burning to DL disks than Nero (my opinion).

I do not think it is Shrink as the burner is not recog. the blank media. Try Verbatim D/L media. Way better Quality than the Fuji. You can also use AnyDVD w/ DVDDecrypter to rip the d/l in .iso mode and then write the D/L DVD. DVDDecrypter is way better than Shrink at finding the layer break
