dvd shrink cant find file?

I'm trying to copy corpse bride, I ran it through dvd decrypter because dvd fab kept getting stuck at the same spot vts 04. Decrypter worked but when I use shrink to back up file it says it cant find the file! I'm not sure how to use vob blanker since everything ive read says rip it with dvd fab first but dvd fab is not working for me. Please help a brother out. Thanks

Shrink alone can handle this one - it's what I used. Did you use .iso mode or file in decrypter?

i tried shrink alone first but kept getting stuck on chapter 13. I'm not to sure if it sopied in .iso or file i just put the dvd in and then pressed the dvd to hard drive button. Still learning so please forgive the ignorance here.

No worries!
You may have a dirty/scratched or bad press - I'm thinking that's why shrink and fab decrypter failed. Decrypter imo is a better ripper for these. For file mode in shrink click on open files - then find the video_ts folder decrypter put the movie in. If .iso mode go to file>open disc image and find the .iso that decrypter made.

I agree with binkie on this, Corpse Bride is an easy movie there is nothing special on it. If you ripped it with Decrypter in iso mode then you need to go to your file tab in Shrink and then open disk image and browse to where you put the file.

Since I know where it keeps getting stuck can i reauthor under shrink since its not a part of the movie? I would like to use the menu function on the dvd but if i move the menu file i cant controll scene selection, how can i replace this file with keeping my menus?

I did go to shrink under file after decrypting and shrink said it couldnt find file i clicked on the main file then the sub file video ts and couldnt find that file also never had a major problem backing up movies this is a fisrt but im still a rookie

Yes i can find the file its in my c drive, but when i try to open it with shrink it wont let me says it cant find vts o4 3 which isnt even a file on the dvd

I probably do have a bad disc cause decrypter did get stuck on same file but when i tried exiting it asked me if i want to skip this file and i hit yes thats how it backed up the movie but i still need shrink to find the file.

Sounds like a bad disk, if you have not tried AnyDVD there is a 21 day free trial of the program along with its companion CloneDVD. AnyDVD now includes a ripper that is for disks that have problem, you try that and see if it works. It will rip it to your HDD and then you can process it. Get it here

Probably is a bad one! Try this - clean off the disc then rerip but in iso mode in decrypter. Go to mode>iso>read. Hopefully it will rip the whole movie. If it does than proceed w/ shrink!
If it doesn't exchange for a new one.

I got the update for AnyDVD but as of yet do not have any really bad disks to try it out on. I guess I will just wait until I get a broken one. According to slysoft that is what it is for, not for protection.
