Hi, i'm trying to make a backup copy of a morrissey live concert dvd I recently bought " Morrissey - Who Put The M In Manchester". Since it's a dual layer dvd and I only have a single layer burner, I thought I might just put the concert on one dvd and the videos/features on a second, so as to keep the quality at 100% This would be easy enough if I wasnt trying to keep the menus, but I am. I went ahead with dvd shrink and stripped just the concert portion, then copied the other ifos and bups of the other title sets (2xxx, 3xxx ect)into the directory with the video, and lastly made sure the menu vob was there also. Then I used ifoedit to get sectors, and it proceeded to make the corrections. But when I then opened the ifo and tried to play the dvd with ifoedit's dvd player, it just starts at the main movie, not the menu. I'm sure there must be a way to do this, there's just a piece of the puzzle im missing- could someone help me out, or point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance :)

Yes because you re authored and chose the main movie only. To get the main movie and the menus use the full disc back up mode and dis select everything except the menus and main movie. The main movie may not have the quality, the main movie only gives because it has less room with the menus than it does without them but you may not be able to tell the difference depending on the size of the item/s keep along with the main movie.
