dvd shrink not working at all, need help

any ideas i been using shrink for over a year now no problems now for some reason it runs super slow and when i open my dvd shrink i takes a long time cpu fan turns on then boom it shuts the pc down. never had any problems with dvd shrink in the past but need some help with this one please.!

Is it just DVD Shrink that is running slow or does every program you try to open run slower now. If this is the case, it could be one of many things. It could even be all things. Have you scanned your PC for viruses or spyware lately? If not, I would definately do that. Once you have done this, I would defrag the hard drive. This will tidy up your hard drive and should make your PC run smoothly. Try using DVD Shrink again. If your problem still occurs, I would try reinstalling DVD Shrink, then running it again. If you're still having problems after this, then I'm willing to bet that your operating system is screwed up somehow. I hate to say it, but you may have to reinstall it, which can take hours.

nope dont have any problems with any other programs except this one. once i open DVD Shrink computer starts overworking it self fan turns on or like i said sometimes just freezes up and will have to restart my cpu.

Have you tried uninstalling it, then reinstalling it?

yup even tried using an earlier version of DVD Shrink i can use dvd decyrpter and fab but i just dont like them. wish i could get my shrink to work like it used to.

Here's a few suggestions - shrink is cpu intensive - make sure your fans are clear - might need to clean them up a bit.
Run a registry cleaner - you may have a conflict going on.
Is this for all movies? Shrink can't handle the newer copy protections and on some systems will crash.
Anything on your pc change since this starting happening?

it was my ca antivirus have had the same antivirus for over a year now and for some reason it conflicted with shrink thanks all for your help
