Forced caption error using DVD Shrink

I have backed up a movie with DVD Shrink successfully, except the forced captions are in French when the default language stream is English 5.1 with no subtitles. I may not be using the correct terminology, but the forced captions are text in parts of the movie to explain the transition from one scene to another such as explaining a jump in time to six months later.

Does DVD Shrink allow for changing the language of the forced caption or do I need other software to do that and what software would set the default language of forced captions. Thanks in advance.

Never had the problem, but maybe you could try going into the settings, and under output files check the box that says Logical remapping of enabled streams. In the streams tab make sure both are English. Maybe that will help a little, but can't guarantee anything.
