help! dvd shrink won't read my dvds......

i start up my dvd shrink as usual and nothing looks to be wrong but when i press open disc, a few seconds later it prompts Dvd Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Copy protection error. Incorrect funtion... any suggestions on what to do?..

What movie are you trying to burn? Also, do you have AnyDVD running in the background?

no i dunt have AnyDVD working, i was trying to burn a copy of a harry potter movie, but i've also tried other movies i used in the past like guess who.. its just now it wont work... plus i've reinstalled it but nothing seems to work...

Rip to HDD first using DVDFab Decrypter, then open in DVD Shrink and continue as usual.

DVDFab is free and you can get it here: http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/software.htm

I did this movie the other night and it was nothing special, encryption wise.
