I've read on here that you can blank out junk such as FBI warnings and other crap so I'm trying to but when I process the folder dvd fab created it will only let me preview the movie in vob. Does anyone know how to get the menues on the preview through vob so I can blank out the little stuff. I found where I need to blank in shrink by previewing but I cant find in vob. Thanks

Which version of VOBB are you using? I think the one I'm using is something like 2.01 or some variant of that. Anyway, I initially rip the movie with VOBB instead of another program. Once the movie has successfully been "opened" in VOBB, I blank out all the crap. Then I "process." Then I'll open Shrink to compress.

This has always worked for me.

I'm using 2.1. I use alkohols method using dvd fab then VOB to process. When I select the input video after ripping with dvd fab it shows only the main movie and some trailors I can edit. I'm doing jarhead and want to take out the fbi warnings. Since I couldnt find them with VOB I opened disc with shrink and went to reauthor and found them under menus but in VOB I cant see any of the menus to blank out.

Yeah, I've noticed that too about some movies--how you can't see or find or preview the FBI warnings etc. I dunno. Sorry lol.

Alkohol is the man to ask. PM him, or better yet, get his attention in this thread because I'd like to know the answer as well lol.

Did you look in VIDOE_TS.VOB?
That is where i found most of the junk you want to blank.
