Hey yall! My dvd shrink has been working fine but now it removes the audio on the extras only. I can't figure out why. As soon as I put a video file in the program there isn't any audio for the extras. Can you wonderful people help me out?
Wait, does it remove the audio before or after you shrink the movie? I.E., does shrink remove the extras audio automatically or does it just never show up on a list of present audio streams?
Sorry, I will clarify. The audio just isn't there. I decrypted with dvdfab and I also tried dvddecrypt and also tried just using dvdshrink. I just found out that Nero does the same thing with encode. I hear they are the same. Anyway, on the audio in the display there is no indication that the audio isn't there but it isn't. Talk about confusing. Thanks in advance for any help and interest. This is a new computer but it seems old with all these problems. Another friend said it maybe the harddrive serial wire has gone bad or is bad and windows has been corrupted. You'd be correct in saying that DVDShrink and Nero Encode we're created by the same person. I highly doubt it's anything your friend says it is, because you would be having much greater problems than just Shrink. Try the guide that johnl linked. If that doesn't work, we'll know it's not the method, but your hardware. BTW, did you try this with more than one DVD?
I'm still trying the guide. I have had this problem with several dvd's now. The first was Looney Tunes Golden Collection vol.1 Disc 1. now with some others. My computer has just crashed. So I will get back to you when I can do something. This seems to be the start of something bigger. Thanks TomSan
now i have problems with dvdshrink on my other computer. The same problems. I have been using this program for over two years without this problem and now both computers with the same problem. No audio on the extras when put in the program. Any other ideas except the guide? Thank a billion. TomSan
You know, I actually just had the same problem you did. It's on a disc that I burned a long time ago, towards the end of last year. It doesn't have any audio on the extras, but I can't remember if it's because I deselected it or not...
I still need help with dvdshrink cutting out my sound on the extras. All I do is what I always do and that is put the video in the program and put deep analysis then back up. I don't change anything. Sometimes I take off the french language but that is it. I never have had a problem before and now everyone is wrong. HHHEEEELLLPPP! TomSan
