problem with Shrink and nero

I have been putting DVD movies on CD disk to watch at a location were theres not DVD player.

I previously had been using magic DVD Ripper to rip then convert to vCD then using NERO to burn them to vcd. that worked good, I was able to put the disk into my pc at the remote location and it played in Windows Media Playerwithout skipping a beat. But the trial Magic Ripper as expired. {I've run out of days} BUT nero has a button that says DVD to VCD. well I use DVD Shrink to put a movie on hard drive then I used the Dero to Convert DVD to VCD but although nero put it on cd, it wont play in Windows Media Player.

it says

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

I have dvdfab on my hard drive.
also DVD Dycrypter. but they dont shrink.

does anyone know whats compatible with Nero. I think I have Nero express 6.

If you have Nero's Showtime that came w/ your copy of Nero then use that to view the DVD.

You can also D/L K-Litet codec pack from here:
