I've been using dvd shrink & DVD Fab for a while now & I've never had any problems until lately.

DVD Fab is taking like an hour to rip the files & then DVD shrink encodes it just fine starts burning just fine but the burning takes forever even on 8x burn. I've seen it get up to 67% but somewhere between that & finishing the burn process it runs into some kind of error.

I recently got a new computer so it may be the burner I guess... but the dvdfab ripping time has been going on since the Bros Grimm came out even on my old comp. I'm using the Nero program that came with a lite-on dvd burner I got for my old comp & using trying to use it on a lightscribe.

any ideas?!?

Make sureyour IDE devices are set to DMA mode if available.

Posting your Nero log would be a big help in seeing why Nero is producing a error while burning.

if i have a problem with a dvd download, such as a glitch, whatever stops the downlaod, i always have to go into my c drive properties and unclick and re-check the DMA box on all 3 drives, and then upon restarting, the computer downloads a movie under 4400 in about 10 minutes, if you EVER have a sluggish or slow download (and cursor) go in and reset the DMA, works every time.
