PRXs are like codecs, similar to dlls for your pc
i dont know why we have to replace them, im guessing that the newer codecs require the 2.01+ firmware to run it.

Thanks for the link. The only problem I have is that when I run the Mph Gameloader it boots and then the psp turns off. Any Ideas? Could it be the ISO or something else?

zazie2k4:
make sure all your files are in the right places.
UMDemulator
Mphgameloader folders to memory stick root
The backup iso in the folder called ISO also on the root
inside PSP\GAME copy UMDemulator, UMDemulator and MPHGameloader n MPHGameloader(might look like MPHG_1%) to the PSP\GAME on your PSP
To run youll need to start umd emulator then where it says ISO emulation mode change it to "system menu"
When you run the game it will take you back to menu where you thne start the mph
NgocHoang:
No need to sign up, when you go to the page it will have a timer counting down from 45 seconds wait and a pop up comes and you can then close the pop up.
Youll then see the timer has changed to a click here to download.
IF it does not work try disabling your firewall.

you need to downgrade your psp first
To downgrade from 2.0 here is what you do.
You are going to need this file
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/3 and this file
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/4 1. Take the h.dat and the index file and put them in your root folder(next to psp and umdemulator)
2. Take overflow.tiff and put it in your PSP/Photo Menu.
3. Make a new folder in your PSP/GAME CALLED UPDATE. Put the 1.5 upgrade in there.
4. Go to your photo menu, and press down. You should see a black screen with white letters. If not turn your psp off and try again. do not downgrade til you see the black screen with the white letters, this is a very important step
5.After you see the black screen with the white letters wait 30 seconds turn you psp off and turn it on again, Go to the game menu through your PSP and click the 1.5 update. make sure your psp is plugged into the charger. Do not remove the charger at anytime, Do not remove the battery, Don't do anything but press X to start the downgrade
Your psp is going to get to 99% and say that the update failed. This is perfectly normal. Wait 30 seconds after this happened and turn your psp off.
6. Turn your psp back on its going to say an error happened. This is normal as well. Just rebuild your psp like it instructs you to do.
7. You now have a 1.5 psp

iso for our purposes is a back-up of a psp game
First of all you will need this file
http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=92 That file is Umdemulator. It must be used in conjunction with MPH.
Here is MPH
http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=348
You open open up umdemulator.
Take the folder that says UMDemulator and but it in your Main PSP directory(Along side the PsP folder)
The other two folders(UMDE1~1,UMDE), go in the PSP/Game Folder
You then open up MPH
Take the folder that says MPH GameLoader and place in your main directory.(along side UMDEMULATOR and the PSP folder)
The other two files(MPHG, MPHG1~1) go in the PSP/Game Folder (alongside UMDE1~1 and UMDE folder)
When playing most games that are on the dvd you will be able to use umdeumlator on its normal settings.
When the circumstance arrives for certain games however, You will need to do the following.
Set emulation mode in UMDemulator to system menu
Click on the game you want to play.
It is going to take you back out to the screen with the wiggly lines.
then you go to mph and press x
