Thanks for the link, I don't think I have the same Naruto game they are refering to. I'm trying to play around with it anyway. I created a narutonp folder and followed the instructions as is. At the moment, I'm waiting awhile as the files transfer onto the memory stick.

you are going to need the naruto iso for it to work, the files you want to extract are in the naruto iso.

Naw I can't get Naruto to work.

I made a folder called Narutop and put in the files it wanted me to.

Then I took that folder, and the other folders and put them in the ISO folder in my PSP. Doesn't seem to run through that. Any ideas?

seph: You dont put them in ISO you put them on the root of memory stick. eg X and narutop go on the root of memory stick not in any folder.
The naruto loaders go in PSP\GAME

nova: whats the game your trying to load ?

This is related to pronix's post. Does the UMD inserted have to be a FW 1.5 compatible UMD?

Let me see if I got this right, I put the RunUMD in the PSP/Game folder

and I put the Narutop folder in the MP_ROOT folder.

Is this right?

then just go to RunUMD and start it up with or without a UMD in the PSP?

Well, I go to the Run UMD 0.01.01a1 <experimental> and it loads up to the screen with the options to

Press O to extract system files from UMD - First Time
Press X to Run UMD

When I press O it says

Creating MS0:/x/FLASH1 DiskOK, extracting

Then in the top left it says FILE EXTRACT ERROR

and when I press X it says "Starting.."

then "START ERROR"

Alright I followed at least 2 instructions from PS2NFO and that afterdawn place. The Naruto game icon is on my memory stick but when I go to it and RunUMD comes up I press X and it loads the game that's in my UMD. So instead of Naruto I see Hot Shots Golf. And if I have no UMD in there it gives an error :(
