I put my first iso in there, Lumines, and it worked perfectly but anyone know how to load the Megaman game? When I select it, the memory stick light goes on and then an error message pops up and says 'The game could not be started'. Any help is appreciated, thanks all.

Get mph gameloader 1.1 from psp-hacks.com Downloads/loaders
install it

then
Set emulation mode in UMDemulator to system menu
Click on the game you want to play.

It is going to take you back out to the screen with the wiggly lines.
You go back into memory stick and you press MPH gameloader and the game will run.

Thanks for your reply Joeva. I followed your instructions and when I load up the mph, the screen gets stuck on loading screen. the mphgameloader folder (with flash0 and flash1) goes in the root right?

Powered up needs alot of work to get it running

Open you megaman backup ISO with WinRAR, you should have PSP_GAME & UMD_DATA.bin

Now open another backup ISO of a game that needs 2.6 firmware eg ShinBudokai you should also get PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.bin

Copy over the megaman PRXs with PRX's from Shinbudokai

Now get aenas decrypter http://forums.maxconsole.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=4430 now find the eboot.bin and put it on your psp as well as the decrypter. Once decrypted copy the decrypted eboot back to your pc but rename it boot.bin and place it back in your megaman PSP_GAME folder in the place the original eboot.bin was found.

Now get UMDgen and rebuild your iso.
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/194
To play follow Joevas steps.

PieceFull do you think you can send me the files from ShinBudokai? It's hard to know what you're downloading these days...and I'm on 56k too haha. I don't know the trusted groups yet so yeah, I'll try this out.

Yes but when I have to do this step:
"Copy over the megaman PRXs with PRX's from Shinbudokai" ,
Winrar says I can't. Sorry if I'm being annoying

After youve extracted the ISO with WinRAR youll get PSP_GAME a folder.
Youll also need to extract the pack i gave you as well with WinRAR.

After that it should have nothing to do with Winrar
Youll need to extract the pack i gave you as well

All you should have is a folder called PSP_GAME and a file called UMD_DATA.bin

And the Module folder i sent you.

IT should have nothing to do with WinRAR!

Its like copying files over to a folder just like you would in windows

I got doubts on how to decrypt the eboot.bin

It says "Create a ms0:/Enc folder with the EBOOT.BIN (and/or .PRX files) you want to decrypt, run
the decryptor and it will create a ms0:/Dec folder with the decrypted files."

Where do i create the folder at and am i suppose to put the decryter folder into the psp(Game Folder) ?

Thx In Advance ^^

Yeap, Decrypter came with two folders DECRYPTER and DECRYPTER%
copy those folders into the PSP\GAME folder.

Now where your PSP folder is, (not inside) create another folder called ENC. So it would maybe end up looking like
[PSP] [ENC] [MP_ROOT] [UMDEMULATOR] these are the things that would be on the root of the stick

inside that [PSP] folder is the [GAME] folder where you copy the 2 other folders.

I also had to use hybrid firware, not just 2.0 firmware to get Powered up to work for me.

I think i went wrong somewhere, this is what i did.

Im suppose to copy the eboot.bin file to be decrypt right ?
After i decrypt, i change it to boot.bin which will replace the boot.bin file that is beside the original eboot.bin. (I have the eboot.bin boot.bin and update(folder) inside the folder)

After this, i on UMDgen which i open the ISO file using the program ?

Actually im not sure abt the steps using UMDgen, can u help me further with this ? Please help me check whether what i did above is correct too.

Thx In Advance ^^

get UMDGen http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/155 , go to the PSP_GAME and drag n drop the PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA.bin to the right hand side of UMDgen, then go to FILE - EXPORT ISO
You should now have a ripped Iso

Shoxx - Once you have replaced the boot.bin with the renamed, decrytped eboot bin, have the window with the PSP_game folder and umd_data files open, then open UMDgen. Drag the PSP_game folder and UMD_data into the right window of UMDgen, the go to File, Save As, then name your iso and press ok. This will build your new iso. I needed hybrid firmware to run Powered up, there is a guide on how to make hybrid firmware here - http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=17226

I am not sure if the hybrid firmware is a necessity for Powered up, some people have it working on 2.0 firmware, some on hybrid. There are so many loaders and methods now that everyone aint the same I guess. Hope this helps

Hey Shokk, use this app PSPersonalise http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/46 to change your backgrounds on 1.5 They have to be 300x170 bitmaps in 24 bit colour, put them in the root of your Memory stick and run this app. Oh, and ass they replace the monthly backgrounds on the PSP they all have to be named from 01 -12, e.g 07.bmp

No, on 2.0 its much easier because $ony have built it into the firmware, so its juat a couple clicks.
In 1.5 youll need a third party program to install eg
PSPset
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/78
or PSPpersonalize
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/46
