I have been ripping dvds without any problems after swapping my media for Taiyo Yuden. Over the last few days on 4 dvds, the last 5 minutes of the movie, pauses, stops and then skips to the end. It plays fine on my PC but have yet to try it on another DVD. Do you guys think it might be just a few bad disks????

Could be. Here's some things to check/suggestions:
Is your drive's firmware up to date?
What speed are you burning at? Maybe taking it down a notch will help.
Set your target size to 4360 or 4300 so you don't burn to the edge where your problem is happening.
Player can be picky - what may skip in one may not in another. It's finding the right combo that works for your set up - media and burn speed can play a big part.
