Where Did All The Old Timers Go, A Public Meeting Place For Open Discussion

Where did the old timers go? Could it be that the question is no longer valid and should be rephrased to "Why have the old timers gone?" Who are these old timers "in absentia" anyway?

Well, let's see, an exquisite knowledge of virtual breaking and entering, knowledge of modifying consoles for using backup copies of games, tons of trivia...
Some knowledge of the internals of windows and linux, and i have a knack for expressing myself in such a way that a ton of folks agree with me.
*either that, or i'm just right a lot, whichever come first*

I was under the impression that this was a "Good Morning, Afternoon, or Evening" thread. There didn't seem to be anything in the last 2-3 pages that was good imho. I think someone got what they deserved for sure. And I got a few laughs too. lol.

Been here since Xcopy came out...Around 2001 or 2 reading learning and asking questions under a name...not remembering passwords...posting next question...under diffrent name...
Created this account in 2005...been hanging in the site since...this is the best site Iv'e ever found for knowledge and entertainment..:)
& Arniebear was the first person I really remember helping me on site... lots of helpful people here...

Yes he can be found there and never let this crap go on at either of those Forums. I have been here for quite a while and right now I am wondering where the real Old Timers are and why the only Mod here is DDP . where is Neph, Flip, Creaky, or Ireland or even Vurbal?

Thats when this place was fun and wholy educational. I dont ever remeber seeing so may banned people. I ve been coming here for years (lurker)4/2003 and I think even before then but changed email and was cancelled. Oh well, main thing this place used to be alot of education and fun without attitudes. Guess people move on, Web sites too.
