All We are saying,is give peace a chance.
i dont consider myself a oldtimer, or have the knowledge as the oldtimers have, cause we all know i dont know jack(not intended at RIPPER) but i have been told and asked by a few people i RESPECT here why i havent posted much or just popped in to say hello.
the above threads linked is why. but lets give peace a chance..lol
ive read all the links to the snot flinging... just what is all the hubbub about? i dont care nor want to know... everyone has friends adn not everyone is friends. but arent we all here to learn something, get help or help others?
now on that note. I NEED HELP WITH WINDOWS XP (or is my mobo just shot)

As said reviously some of the stuff has driven people away from coming here every day to read or post.I'm glad to see a sstep in the right direction. On the other note from the Red guy post a link since you already got the att. of ddp a respected person from my stand point and am always looking for answers from the knowledgeable members here. Great to see the tech forum posted again ireland a big drawback for me also. Chris

Well this old timer has just got in from work, is it all clear yet. Hope so as i don't wanna spend hours on the forums tonight, last night's utter buffoonery kept me awake (ie on the PC, i'm not sad enough to take it all personally) 'til way after 1am. Up at 6am and i felt like death, then 90mins on our horrible motorways finished me off. Then i got to work and luckily the day was a breeze; well other our main Production Billing application going kaputt due to something slightly amiss in or NTP setup (time synching between all our UNIX and Windows servers), but at least that kept me awake. It's mostly worked ok for 6 odd years, but suddenly everyone wanted to know what NTP was, how it all works, and then why it wasn't working and how i was gonna fix it. What's my name, Doctor Who the Time Lord ? LOL
Time had basically jumped backwards on one server and our application had kittens.
So.. this evening will hopefully be a lot quieter

Well last night i was put in an awkward position, but anyways, hopefully it'll die down a bit now..
we got the new page glitch documented in a couple threads Ireland btw.

I've checked my mail and visited threads I'm subscribed to. Seems today has been exceptionally peaceful. You cover a lot more territory than I do though. Luck and I hope you and the other mods continue to have things quiet as today.
