This indicates that the burner doesn't have the correct write strategy for the media you're using so it's trying to apply a generic one. You might also have to update your firmware. If this doesn't help, you might just have to trash the media you're using and get another brand. Hope this helps.

Amy is correct, TDK discs aren't a good choice for backing up your movies...your firmware is current. I would suggest Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Fuji, Maxell (made in Japan).

Again...in the two error logs you posted, the DVD media is not being burned with the correct write strategy. That's why you get this in the log:
