Hi All,
Heres my situation. I copied several dvd's..no problem. I forget what versions I was running, Shrink with Nero. WHen I came home form being deployed, I reloaded my machine, I do this once every few years. Anyway, I didnt have the original downloads of the software I used for copying. So I downloaded Shrink 3.2.0.15 and Nero 6.6.0.3 OEM. I go threw the while process, it doesnt show me errors. Looks like a good copy, put it in the DVD player and ...Nothing! All my hardware is exactly the same, my media is exactly the same, the only thing that changed was, after I reloaded my CPU with the same version of OS, the versions of SHrink and Nero I used. I thought I heard a buddy tell me I had to use a certain version of Nero with a certain version of Shrink. But all the previous software I used is gone and I have downloaded the newer versions of these. Like I said, I get no errors, looks like a good copy, but somehow it isnt. ANy ideas or help would be appreciated. Be easy on me,Im not a rocket scientist with this stuff.

Hi! The version I am running with Shrink 3.2.0.15 is Nero 6.6.0.18 and this combo is working. Some versions of Nero work better than others and, in my experience, these versions tend to work only a majority of the time. You can also download DVD Decrypter to use to burn. How you would do this is create an ISO file with Shrink (instead of burning the copy), then (after it's encoded), right click the ISO file icon and "open with" DVD Decrypter. Set the ISO mode to write, insert a blank DVD, and you're off. Hope this is of some help to you and have a good night!
