I've tried the bald thing. Had it for a year, I kept my head well waxed and it looked good. But it felt weird and I stopped after I got some bad sunburn :P
Don't get me wrong, I love my hair, but I'd love it to be straight because the fro absorbs all moisture and is HOT in the summer. Also I want to dye it black and see how I like it.

I saw that comment Tycobb posted onthe profile page of the user named "Dingleberry", it went along the lines of:
"Your kid's all d**k, look at that thing, its huge, I see he takes after you (a joke ofcourse)"
Thats sick, pheadophilic and wrong, I don't know if it was written with the intent to disturb but I personally, would find it offensive.
Another example of the "Console Forum kidz!" acting silly again, the language in that post is foul, wash your filthy mouth out with soap to the individual who posted that nasty'ness!
An outburst like that was obviously trigured by some form of offensive behavior, pushing people into courner's and making them attack out like that is just as bad as foul mothing like babakadus did.
I won't say any more of what I think of the matter and I'll mind my own bussiness but I know, from experience that people who are involved in regular flame war's won't stand the test of time here, or anywhere.
Remember the "ty cobb wtf" thread, now this lunacy?
I'll silently walk away now, watch as I blend into the shadow's and magically re apear next time I'm needed :)

I think lightening should strike on far more occaisions when threads go off topic in such a way. All too often the threads in the console forums are nothing but childish chit chat and name calling. When there is a thread of merit, it all too often becomes hi-jacked and beaten to death. Maybe if the AD title progression was also taken away from the forum consoles, like the safety valve we wouldnt have so many "members" flaming each other and causing problems?
Either way what was written is way out of line and all members involved should "ride the lightening " for good!!
If at first you don't succeed....give up and go to the pub!

When ye have children interacting with adults on a web site it always degrades the web site.
I have seen that happen on a ton of web sites..
Why do ye think a bunch of members left? as they got tired of the crap from the children.
As adults understands the rules of a web site if read ,children tend to make up there own rules even if they read the rules.
In reality children and adults should not mix on a web site..that?s why I suggested the console forums should be on there own web site. And not on the main afterdawn forum in the past.

I think that they should just go to blasteroids and stay there. I like getting help in there but I think it has gotten out of hand. The rampant flaming that goes on there is insanely overboard.
The PC and Software forums are fine how they are as people childish enough to flame like they do are too impatient or lazy to sit down and research parts, performances, decent arguements, and especially manners. Which means they avoid facing the USUALLY more intellectual, mature, and not stupid people at AD. Not saying they are all bad but I've never seen worse flaming and shouting than what goes on in the console forums.
If I start to feel myself getting out of control I log off and go play a game until I calm down. I like consoles but they wouldn't even exist without PCs there to be the inspiration :)

My opinion is...Having the console forums integrated with the rest of ad is like having an outhouse in your kitchen!
Ofcourse this is just my 2 cents worth.

My big bitch of the day. why is it that in this modern world we live in I had to spend nearly 5 hours in a hospital A+E waiting for an X-ray after after my 9 year old had swallowed a £1 coin (see pic). only to be told to let nature take its course. Blair promises that every one will be delt with within 4 hours but theres nothing you can do if this isn't so. God help future generations who become ill in this country of ours.
By the way been checking the toilet daily still no change :-)

I swallowed coins all the time when I was little. No problems except with the 50 cent piece (jk) But I did do it. I have a friend who paid me five bucks last year to swallow a quarter. No problems whatsoever.

It'll be a little over 3 days at the VERY LONGEST! Any over that you need to get it checked out or there could be some complications with bowel movements.
It might also pass through without you noticing it. If you get another X-Ray you could find that it is gone.

Now that's what I call frugal! j/k consul ... I hope your kid will be fine. Sounds like the docs know what they're doing. You can't call them and ask how long it should take or how much time before you should be concerned?
Hell, your kid must have one strong gullett to swallow something like that in the first place!
When I was a medic in the service, one thing I saw a lot of in the emergency room was baby girls with pierced ears. I still shudder whenever I see one. They'd swallow them, stick them in their ears...up their nose...and it would often cause damage because they're sharp. Every time I see a baby with pierced ears, I have to resist the temptation to drag mom aside and chew her ear about its dangers. Kids do (and eat) the damndest things.

Man Sues Over Sperm Bank Hidden Camera
Claim: Surveillance device was hidden in ceiling of "donation room"
JULY 20--Claiming that he found a video camera hidden in the ceiling of a sperm bank's "donation room," a Los Angeles man is suing the firm for negligence and emotional distress. Ken Rigberg, 27, charges that he discovered the pinhole camera during a June 2005 visit to Pasadena's Pacific Reproductive Services. According to Rigberg's Los Angeles Superior Court complaint, a copy of which you'll find below, he "noticed an unusual hole in the ceiling tile" of a private donation room, where he had just finished masturbating into a cup. Upon inspection, Rigberg realized that "there was a hidden surveillance camera on top of the ceiling tile, with the lens of the camera positioned to...capture the activity within the private donor room." Rigberg is described in the lawsuit as a "regular sperm donor" who went to Pacific "to provide an honorable and essential benefit to his community." According to Pacific's web site, it pays men $100 per donation, and that most donors contribute "once or twice weekly over a minimum one-year period or 65 donations." Rigberg's attorney, S. Edmond El Dabe, provided TSG with a police photograph of the seized ceiling cam equipment, an image he received from Pacific's insurance carrier. El Dabe said Pasadena cops have been unable to determine who placed the video camera in the donation room ceiling. The lawsuit, which was filed in late-May and does not specify monetary damages, asserts that Rigberg has, among other things, suffered fear, shame, humiliation, and chagrin as a result of discovering the surveillance gadget. An "emotionally traumatized" Rigberg, who had been visiting Pacific for more than a year, "no longer donates sperm, as he fears future illegal surveillance of his private acts," the complaint notes.
