I have an anti-bitch.
My dad and I bought a burnt-copper orange 1971 Nova 2-door coupe about twelve years ago. It was in pretty bad shape when we got it. We had to replace both of the quarter panels and the hood. We then painted it silver and bought all new chrome for it. New windows and vinyl interior panels. All new weather stripping. All new engine. Dad did all the engine work when I was little and we both did the body work in the last three or four years. I started welding on the body when I was twelve.
Today we took it to the first car show it's ever seen and we got first place. Best in class for a street machine. Three foot tall trophy with our names engraved on it. My dad has quit drinking for a few years now. But he was so overwhelmed that he had like ten screwdrivers. Needless to say, I drove us home. I've never actually seen him cry but he was just so taken aback. Cars are our life and it was a huge deal for him.

@aabbccdd,
Currently have a Samsung X427 which doesn't hold a charge at all, from what I hear, turning off the bluetooth option increases the battery life. Found a fascinating site to really screw around with your Moto...

Am I the only guy left who doesn't have or want a cell phone? Perhaps its because I had to carry one 24/7 with this job I had in Miami (that was 1989 and the thing was the size and weight of a brick) but the constant interruptions have not been forgotten. If I'm not in my living room or in the office, I don't want a phone.
I'm wondering though if someone could recommend a good manufacturer; I need a new cordless/answering system for the house. There are so many...uniden, panasonic, vtech, ATT, south west something or other ... and it goes on and on. I need something with a good solid sound that doesn't sound like you're talking into a tin can. Recommendations anyone??

gerry the V-tech or the AT&T are both good.
i use a cell phone only . i dont have a landline phone at all being i got a cable internet connection why pay for two phones

My Dad and Sister both have the V-Tech, they have the system with one base and several satellite units. I mainly use the cell 'cuz I'm not home and am hard to reach via landline.

Here's me phone,
 
I love the phone to death and the 262K resolution 240X320 QVGA screen is the best I've ever seen on a phone. It has a nice little MP3 player so I picked up a 512MB MicroSD for it so I can carry an extra 150 or so MP3's.
Now to the bitch part. Mine flat ass refuses to pair or hold a connection with bluetooth devices. No manufacturing process is perfect and I can accept that I got a bad one but Samsung isn't making things easy for me. I sent it back to be repaired and 17 days later I got it back and.........it still wouldn't pair. They're adamant that they fixed it but they want me to send it back so now I get to go another 15+ days with no phone. Bastards.

i use the Motorola L6, nice but crap for texting, why oh why oh me oh my oh woe is me, did i give up my Nokia, have had Nokia phones ever since my first mobile phone - the Sony Mars Bar' phone back in '96.
i'm sorry Nokia, i will come back to Nokia when it's time to trade in the Moto :)

Neph nice looking phone shame it's not working properly. I've had a nokia 3220 for a year now and it's great. I don't text or surf internet anyway. My wife's want upgrade for a new flip phone anyone got suggestions? Cingular must carry it.
