Afternoon all. No bitch from me today. I'm off till Monday. Going to Biloxi to see what Katrina has left of our casinos and Mary Mahony's Restaurant. No more boats all have rebuilt on the ground away from the beach. Going to celebrate 29 years with the same woman. We both need shrinks and probably separate vacations too.

Congrats on the anniversary.
I visited the Gulf Coast a few months after Katrina. It was a mess, but getting back to normal then. Some structures were totally destroyed and some bare foundations were all that was left in some places. I was at Orange Beach near the FL border. I didn't go to NO or any of the really hard hit cities. Most places have things back up and running to pull in the tourist trade. Hope all your favorite spots in Biloxi survived.

My bitch:
I hate rapidshare! If you try and download anything it freaks out and says "You must have a premium account!" or wait 3 hours to get the rest of your file. Its lame and pisses me off!

It's only redeeming quality is that it's free unless you spring for a premium acct. That's why they mess with you on limited downloads, trying to get you to buy. Just stating the obvious, I don't like them much either.

just buy a prem account, i have mine until septemeber, worth every penny tbh, plus ive gotten 3 months free so far due to all the uploading i do :)

Indeed, but with so many great free alternatives out there that don't limit your download (in size, but most do in speed instead of a size limit) I don't see why so many people continue to use RapidShare. Maybe its because its been around so long?

Use Linux on rapidshare, only makes you wait like 30 minutes or after I restart the computer and go back to the website, don't know why but with Road Runner seems to give me a different IP each time on Linux. Anyone know why? Download speeds seem to average around 600 vice 250-300 in windose...

I was sitting in my nice leather computer chair then all of a sudden it falls half its height. This piston got a leak... so now it is dead and I need to drop another 100 bucks for a chair! Urrgg

It may not be as cushy, but place the chair at the right height and use something to lock the piston rod or replace the piston with a threaded rod. I'd check to see if I could buy a new piston before getting rid of the chair. BTW, where can you find a good leather desk chair for $100? I'm never that lucky.

BestBuy... I get what I like to refer to as the Domreis Discount! I know the manager and usually get my stuff at cost... (I do work for him for free... I manage his person website/blog)

Rapidshare is annoying as he##!!!! I have to wait more than 3hours after downloading 100mb file. Which is max!!!! You can't download movies or any big files. Don't even get me started on my chair. My chair has been overdue for sooooo long. I'm sick of people looking at me and thinking why i hate my life. well, let's see, the reason i hate my life is because of YOU!!!!!!! This some old guy at the bus said to me "Why so angry when your young". Let's see, hmmmmmm maby cause i have to work my ass off to pay for the debt that i'm paying for to go to college. Which i didn't even wanted to go!!!!! life isn't fair and i'm sick of dealing with it. I'll probley feel better tomorrow.
EDIT:I'm sick of people telling me "what i would do to have what you have" and some people telling me "be happy what you got". NO NO NO i'm not freaking going to be happy with what i got. No bitch today. It's Friday, I have no exams, my lessons today are a complete walkover and this weekend is going to b v good. xD

Well, you've learned one good lesson. Life isn't fair. Often it doesn't come close. I wish you well with the education. It's one of the things that will get you ahead if you apply yourself. Even though my son had help from home, he needed student loans. Today his property and investments are worth a few million dollars. I wish I had done as well. Then I didn't go to college as long. ;)
