I am so bummed out... This week couldn't get any worse!
This morning we walked outside to head to the Apple store only to find that the tires on our cars had been slashed! So no iPhone for me!

don't mind doing the stuff around the house so much.
but work blows i work way to hard plus we been work 60 plus hour weeks lately. the pace at work is so fast that i've lost 20 pounds in the last year. so basically you need to be 20 or 25 to do the work NOT in your late 40s like me!!

Are there any AA programs for computer addicts? Any computer store
that has a before inventory clearance should lock their doors when
they see me coming. Today I bought a flash drive, 2 external hard
drives, 2 external DVD writers and a printer.
Almost forgot-bought an internal hard drive too.

man your hours at work sound like mine. it sucks dont it.. im just happy(guess its not a bitch) there isnt any good movies out right now to burn.
as for my bitch. since last week when i went to the DR to find out more about being diabetic. its not as bad as i thought it would be. im border line type 2 diabetic got me taken a mild dose of metformin. and here comes the bitch. the side effects of this med. is a case of the old fashion RUNS...lol seems like every 5 mins im in the labrotory...lol yea i know more info than needed.lol

My BITCH
All I own is a lap top. Well as luck has it, my hdd and RAM both decided to sh!t out on me at the same time. Woohoo for me! Can someone link me to a guide for installing a hdd in a lappy? Never have done that before.

Thank you so much for the links! The vid helps alot, although I do not have the same lappy I get the gist of the process now. The other link i also a great resource, just sad because there is no information about my particular model :(
As you know from my pc thread, im a total noob so despite everything I will for sure post any problems I run into. I am damn sure I will have problems so be prepared!
By the way the gig of ram and hdd cost me $175 total, not too bad me thinks. Just hope it cures all my problems.....we will see in a couple days! /me prays to the pc gods!

lmao, I spent 2 days opening and reclosing my ancient sony vaio to replace the HDD. Sony wanted $150 just for a replacement 10GB stock HDD (No installation, nothing). BestBuy wanted $90 for a 120GB... I went with BestBuy. Insanity, sheer insanity, it would be intersting to see how much they wanted to actually repair the thing. I mean hell, it's an eight year old laptop, it's actually worth less than the 120GB HDD, why the hell would I pay $150 for a 10GB HDD?
So two days, ninety bucks, and five frozen pizzas later, my eight year old Vaio had a 120GB HDD, how absurd :D Ripper, when ye sieze power can you take down sony for me? Thanks. XD

Oh cmon now, that 10 gig HDD is totally worth the money, moreso then the 160 hdd I just bought for $94!!!! LOL we all know these major companies do not give a shit about you and your money, they only care about the bottom line and extracting as much $$$$$$$$$$ from you as possible. Fu$k capitalism!!! Anarchy!!
LOL that is why newegg and tigerdirect exist, to offset all the assholes that try to rob you out of all your hard earned money!!
