I copied it last night.
Used AnyDVD 5.9.5.3 and DVD Shrink 3.2 + Nero.
No problem.
The DVD has the Sony Accross and 7 bad sectors, plus some other msg's from AnyDVD, but it made a good copy. If you just want to rip it, use the AnyDVD ripper.

Hi All,
I was successful with DVDFab Decrypter, followed by VobBlanker, then Shrink and DVD Decrypter to burn.

you need to get the program pgcedit to create the PSL file so u can get that part of the movie which won't read into your computer..it's quite easy once you do it the first time but i have been having alot of trouble lately with some of the newer ones such as memoirs of a geisha

laserman1 is right. Why go through all that fab decrypting and VOB blanking when you can do it with shrink and AnyDVD. You can copy the full disc or just the movie.

I'm also having problems with "fun with d/j". I have DVD Shrink and AnyDVD. Should I get vobblanker? Is vobblanker a good program?

If you are having problems with the movie and are running the newest AnyDVD, which just had another update. Then use the built in ripper and rip to your HDD and the process with Shrink. The AnyDVD ripper will do the same thing as VB/FixVTS.

@Brazil92
If you have shrink and any DVD just open with shrink, full disc, then reauthor. Two titles come up, #1 is wide screen and #2 is full screen. Pick the one you want and hit backup and burn. That's it.

Hi all,
Would you please, tell me how can I remove the old version of AnyDVD ? because each time I install the new version of AnyDVD, it told me that was expired (I removed the old before to install the new one)
Thanks in advance

No need to remove the older version before installing the newest one. If you have a valid key it will not say it's expired. The trial version is only good for 21 days. After that you'll get that message until you install a paid for key.

I think the problem here is that many are using an older cracked version that can not be updated. Anyone who attempts to update will get a message saying that their 21 day trial has expiried.

To copy Fun with Dick and Jane, use AnyDVD latest version and open the disc in DVD Shrink and burn it from there. That was the only way I could get it to work. Made a perfect copy.

khlockett,
When you load the VIDEO_TS.IFO file, you need to click on the "Proc. All" button on the right side of the window to make sure all VTS files are processed and none are skipped, then click the "PROCESS" button on the bottom of the window to begin.

Just did Fun with Dick and Jane right now. Ripped with DVDFab 2.9.7.5...full disc ripped without a problem. Ran through DVDRemake Pro and removed the full screen version, this left the rest of the dvd (menus, extras, etc.) on the DVD without compression (this can probably also be done with VOBblanker), ran the Remake files through Imgtool Classic to create iso and burned with Imgburn....perfect copy without compression (without full screen version of course).

Downloaded the latest version and . . . . da da . . . no problem!!! Thanks for all the info you share here on the forums.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST VERSION!!!!

I got it in 1 attempt, and its perfect, i ripped using pgcedit and DVD Decrypter, it had 4 different bad vobs it couldnt read, after pgc edit made the good psl files i loaded them into DVD Decrypter and it re-ripped those before unreadable files, then i used DVD Shrink and let it burn with Nero, flawlessly

Dick and Jane has sony accross protection on it, it is read by the constant spinning of the disc. In order to correct this you need to download dvdidle, dvdidle reads a 90min movie for example, for 15 mins then becomes idle while the movie is still playing. Dvdidle has an option to remove accross protection.
I Also use dvd decrypter 3.5.4 or something like that.
Dvdidle.
Clone dvd.

I'm not using dvd fab not a fan, download DVD Decrypter from
www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/.
Then go to SetupDvdDecrypter_3.5.4.0.exe and follow the process,
then try again.

I treid using my dvdxpalt. from xcopy software and AnyDVD first, I tried both ways, the 2 disc way and the compression way, no go, I also tried videovault that came with DVDXplat. it has a simular compression like dvdxplat does it just goes a bit further by taking out more features, that didnt work either, than I gave my old trusty dvdxcopy from 321 a shot, now dvdxcopy does not compress, its always a 2disc method which I prefer anyway, but ever once in a while it will say do you want to split it or it can be done on one disc without compression, I opted for the one disc without the special features, that were lousy anyway, and it took, came out perfect, and dont forget, all these programs I use is a one click just burn method, all 3 of them, all those other ways that most people use are way out of my league, so far I have been succefull with ever movie out there using the magic 3 except for one, it was called The Best of Youth, the only one that stumped me, I consider myself very lucky so far, especially not having to configure this or that, delete this file, this title etc. with the trusty 3 plus AnyDVD of course my batting average is pretty good. For any computers dummys out there like me, give it a shot.

@alkohol I followed your instructions but once I got to DVD Shrink i got this error message:
dvd shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
failed to read the file "C:VIDEO_TS/VTS_06_3.VOB"
invalid access to memory location.
I tried two or three times (making sure I followed every step in your directions) and cant figure out whats going on...any ideas?
