chava74 get genesis loader
http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/13
In the genesis you should have an X folder copy that to the root of your memory stick ie not in any folders just right on the stick so when you open youll see x straight away.
Then inside the PSP\GAME in the genesis pack youll find the GENESIS loaders copy those 2 loader folders to your PSP\GAME on your psp
Put your fight night umd in go to GAME on memory stick and start genesis launcher and thats it.

thanks.

someone has just told me to press the O buttom the first time I run Genesis so that the prx may be saved in the MS. This is what I did not do yesterday (I only pressed the X).

Maybe that is the problem. I will try again later today and will let you know.

Can anyone confirm that the PAL/English Fight Night UMD works with this fix?

Thanks

At the end I loaded FNR3 on my 1.5. I used the original Run UMD and the x folder I found on a Syphon release.

A good allround 'X' folder can be found here:http://rapidshare.de/files/17028377/x.rar.html.
(The password to the file is: www.projectpsp.com )

An X folder contains system files and is needed by RunUMD to run newer UMDs.

so this x folder will allow me to play newer games? just put it on the memory stick? i don't get it. doesn't umd emulator or the genesis umd launcher 2.6 already have it? please explain. also, i found a network update in the settings and when i checked it, it said there is an updated version later then the one i apparently have now. this isn't going to update my firmware, is it, if i update it? whats the update do? i guess i can't even do it now anyway, because it says i need a memory stick with at least 18MB free, which i still don't have, but hopefully by next week. thanks for any help.

alright, i put genesis umd 2.6 on my memory card. i ran the program and it says press o to extract system files from umd - first time. i did that and it then did something and said extracting done. Said press x, which i did, then the psp shut off. i restarted and hit x to run the umd. It didn't do anything for a few seconds, and then turned off? what did i do wrong? i am trying to play fight night round 3. i put the x folder in the root of MS and the genesis folders in under the psp/game directory. Why won't it work? i am lost now. some help please? thanks

also i noticed when i put it on the MS, there is a slot that says corrupted data. is that supposed to be there? also whoever said that you get the screen where it should say something, but has no text and you can either get x or o. I got that far too and then nothing works.

I formatted my memory stick and all i put on was the genesis loader. do i need any other programs on there for it to work? this is not working at all.

I don't know much about runumd but i've always used the gta fix x folder. The one's i've dumped from games have never worked for me. So dl the gta fix and then use that x folder should boot fine then.
