I need some help can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong I have learn how to burn the dvd but don't know how to get it to the point where it will not take so long to get it done right now it is analizing and it takes about 7 hours what am I doing wrong?

More information is needed, your OS, what are you trying to analyze etc.

DVD Shrink is no longer supported and may not be able to backup your program which may explain the time it is taking, you may need to use another program such as AnyDVD from Slysoft.

Sounds like you are in PIO Mode. Below is a guide that will help you get DMA back.

You might also consider downloading a free Registry Cleaner and clean the registry as OS conflicts cause the DMA Problems. You can Google for one

Also, you wanna make sure that you don't have too many running processes while you are encoding/burning...you could defragment your hard drive, as that might help a little...

someone help please every time I backup a movie with shrink 3.2.0.15
it has some kind of error. It backs up the movie, ejects it but then has a error window:

You need to uninstall Nero ver 6.6.1.4 and use Nero Cleantools and clean out the registry and then re-boot and re-install no higher than Nero Ver, 6.6.0.18. Below is the thread you need. All of the info is there
