cannot start DVD Shrink - encountered an error

I have DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15 with DVD43ree (and have used DVDFAB Decrypter too).

When I try to either open the movie disk or the files that DVDFAB made and placed in my designated folder (the Audio & Video folder files), I get a DVD Shrink message;

DVD Shrinf encountered an error & cannot continue.
The maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded.

I have Nero 6 plus ultra edition and Nero was first installed before anything else.

anyone have any ideas whats happening? Thanks,

Wow I never heard of that one. Is that relative to the "DVD43ree?"

What movie is it you're trying to do?

The movie is "Derailed". I've always used DVD43free. My other computer has DVD43free with 1click and everthing works fine.

I'll try another movie and see what happens.

Ok..I tried agian using "The Day After Tomorrow" and I noticed when I clicked on open disk, that the movie tried to open (preview window showed the movie) then the process stopped and the DVD Shrink message appeared again about the error???

I uninstalled both applications, hard booted and then reloaded the two softwares (DVD43 & DVD Shrink).

The DVDFab decrypted the Derailed movie into the designated folder. But I have all of the DVD Movie files in Nero format in that folder and I can't figure out how to use Nero to burn to a DVD blank. That's why I back tracked to the DVD Shrink process. DVD Shrink has originally been loaded, but the error problem made me go out and find something else (DVDFAB).

Any help anyone? Thanks,

Your very close to doing this movie correctly, DVD shrink or DVD decrypter can't do this movie alone, so some help is needed.

Try this combo:
Rip with DVDFab process thru Vobblanker open files with DVD shrink and burn with your app of choice.

Note: DVD43 must be disabled when doing this.

Note: When using vobblanker, make sure you click on the Proc.All button on the right of the window before you process the video files to make sure nothing is skipped.

Probable Solution:

Yes, it is Microsoft terminology for "DVD Shrink failed to decrypt this DVD because the disc region and the drive region are incompatible".

Try ripping with DVDFab Decrypter, then run it thru Vob Blanker, after those files are done, open them with DVD shrink and burn with your program, whether it be ImgBurn, Nero, etc...
