when i try to open dvd shrink,i get a runtime error message,an application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly please contact the applications support team for more information.i click ok another box opens,microsoft visual runtime library.runtime error.program:\program files\dvd shrink\dvd shrink 3.2.exe r6030 -crt not initialised,can you plz help

The "runtime error message,an application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly " is just another error type that shrink will produce because it can't handle the copy protection on the disk, so:

Try this combo:
Rip the DVD files to your HDD with DVDFab Decrypter, process those files thru Vobblanker then open the files that vobblanker created with DVD Shrink and burn with your app of choice.

Note: When using vobblanker, make sure you click on the Proc.All button on the right side of the window before you PROCESS the video files to make sure nothing is skipped.

the runtime message appears when i first try to open DVD Shrink not when i try to open the files

So you're saying that the error is immediate, and happens simply by trying to open/run shrink (not when opening the disk or files)?

If so, then I'm assuming that shrink ran ok at some point? If this is the case and you've already tried the uninstall-reinstall process, try and perform a system restore. Restore the PC back to a point in time when you know shrink was working and see if that corrects it.
