be careful cause some games, you wont be able to play on a umd on 1.5. gta you can and im pretty sure u can with ridge racer but there are others that you can only play as an iso on 1.5

I think the first 'update' game was coded arms. I'm not certain; but I at least know for a fact that the above mentioned were launch titles that shouldn't update your system.

I was very dissapointed in the new syphon filter; but to be honest, I don't think I've ever seen a syphon filter game that was genuinely *good*. The last one on PS2 was *alright*, especially for ten bucks at blockbuster, lol.

I don't think anyone has considered them great games since the first one or two on PS1; when there wasn't any competition. Nowadays, there are so many more games that just plain do it better, by leaps and bounds. I'm not personally a fan; but the new splinter cell is supposed to be one incredibly well done title.

They've gone back and forth on this one. There are a number of reasons for both yes and no on it. Bottom line, it is potentially a lot of extra money for them; so I think it will come. Probably about the same time as the 360 version does, as a general guess.

I still think that the system has plenty of ports that make it mroe than worth investing in. Sony made a great little unit with lots of software support.
