Error message with DVD Shrink

I'm getting this error message with dvd shrink:

dvd shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to read file "E:\"
Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

I've also tried using dvdFab and dvd decrypter with shrink but it just stops during the Fab copying process.

Can someone please help!

DVD Shrink encountered and error and can not continue
Failed to read file "(Device)\" Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

Possible causes

The DVD you are trying to backup may be dirty, physically damaged (scratches) or badly authored. These are the most common reason that you get this error code - the DVD can't be read by your DVD reader/burner. Make sure the disk isn't dirty or smudged, if so, clean it and try again.

There is also another more and more common reason for this error code - the DVD you are trying to backup is protected by the ARccOS copy protection system. To overcome this protection you need to use another tool - as DVD Shrink can't handle this protection on it's own.

You state that you used DVDFab (hopefully the latest version) and DVD decrypter (hopefully in file mode), but still no luck, well then you either have a badly scratched disk or a bad press. These two conditions require that you return the disk and exchange it for another, then try to repeat the backup process with the new disk.

Thanks for the infor. I tried cleaning the disc really good and it finally worked. Using Fab/decrypter and Shrink together and just ripping the featured movie only without all the extra stuff. I aslo updated Fab as you suggeted.
