Pardon the rookie question:

I've been using DVD shrink with DVD 43 in the background and Nero 6 to burn. I just recently removed DVD 43 and installed anydvd to burn Narnia. Problem is....now the disc doesn't shrink down nearly far enough to fit on a disc. It shrunk down just fine before when I was running DVD 43...now even with all the features removed it's way too big.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Check your Shrink settings for changes...AnyDVD does not affect size....

I did that too. I still have it set on auto. Even with custom and the shrink set to max I have the red bar about halfway back.

weird...I messed with it for awhile and what fixed it was a restart. I checked all the defaults and everything. Oh well, it's just fine now.

Did this movie last night using the latest version of AnyDVD and clonedvd2 with no problems what so ever. Make sure your using the latest version of AnyDVD, get it here if needed;
http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html

If shrink is still giving you a problem with shrinking the files to a correct size, you could try and use nero's recode 2 to do it or if you still prefer to use shrink, you could try and have shrink rip the files to your HDD and then process them thru vobblanker, then try and open the new files with shrink to see if that corrected it.

get blanker here;

Worst case, you can use the ripper that's now included with AnyDVD to rip the files to your HDD and then open them with shrink. The ripper can be accessed by right clicking on the red fox in your taskbar.

Use Anydvd and believe
