DVD Shrink takes 3 hours then fails to burn

I have put a lot of time in on this job now.

The file set took forever to encode and then the
burn job puked.

The error shown after the burner light blinked red for
about 20 minutes was 'scsi something' not found.
I was too pissed to write it down. I do not have
a scsi burner. What in hell is up with this?


How can I recover just the burn job? I have a
backup file folder on the desktop but I'm getting
a different folder size than expected from DVD Shrink.

The job was cleaned beforehand with DVDDecrypter.

Since the file is saved to your desktop you'll be able to burn it once we figure out your burn error.
Depending on what compression you used would affect the files size that shrink made.
SCSI - small computer system interface - its used to transfer data between your pc and drive.
Now what program did you use to burn?
