DVD Shrink Auto Compression Rate Not Working

All of a sudden the automatic compression doesn't work. There are no error messages, but Shrink acts as though I'm copying to a dual layered disc, even though I set the Target DVD size to: DVD-5(4.7GB). The display just reads 100% - I continued with the burn, which resulted in half a movie on the single layer disc. What's happening????? Has anyone had this problem and found a cure?

What movie are you trying to Shrink? Look at the main movie and see if it says "not compressible", if so, you are trying to shrink a DVD with a block that Shrink cannot handle. You will first need to rip the DVD with something like DVDFab Decrypter or use AnyDVD.
