They are doing it with both systems. If you only watch DN then you only have to worry about those keys. If you watch BEV too, then all need to be manually changed.

Active means just that, its the one being used at that moment but can change at any time. YES, SHUT OFF THE AUTO ROLL FOR THE KEY NUMBERS.

When checking or updating keys, always change both sets to the newest ones listed.

Enter the keys, hit OK button, then exit out to main screen. If nothing, try to cycle off the power switch on the back and see if that helps. Check all keys to make sure they are correct. 1 letter/number off and it won't work.

Hi jerry, on page 4 of this forum you linked us to a place that enabled me to get the new keys via download, it doesn't work anymore. It was simple to do, some of the other sites tell me I am at an unauthorized area etc, can you redo that, thanks

Does any one know of a person that can fix my antenna in the new york metro area, my signal drops off about 15 seconds after I turn on unit, recycle it, it does the same, tried another pansat, that worked at someone elses house, it did the same, so, it must be something upstairs. My installer seems to be more interested in collecting money than followups, thanks all

Team Blacklist has released a fix for the auto roll problem. They are calling it a TEMP fix because they are working on something better, but for now it does work to auto roll the keys again. Files are out for both the 2700 and the 3500 receivers.

If you install bin #278 for the 2700 or #360 for the 3500 you can turn auto roll back on. It will work and update the keys for you again.

Jerry - I have my 3500 back up and running (had to J'Tag it). I was told by the person who J'tagged the unit that I have a clone and not a real Pansat 3500SD. (I didn't even know there was such a thing prior to purchase, but you live and learn.)

Here's the question I have - Will the latest file (with the autoroll fixed) work with a clone unit? Before I load in a new bin file, is there a way to back-up my current config so I can restore if I need to? My unit is working now, but I'm manually entering in keys when needed. Thanks as always for all your help.

@papakevin, If you have a clone then the Blacklist bins will not work for you. They will keep doing the same thing to your receiver. Let me see if I can find a clone safe bin for you.

Crowbar91, If you install the new bin fix #360 for the 3500 then you can turn the auto roll back on. That is what that bin fixes. You could turn it off but the next time the keys change you will need to either turn the auto roll on again or manually input keys again. The receiver will work either way, the choice is yours.
