Click on this link and then click the words DOWNLOAD FILE on the left side. You may need to wait a few seconds while the timer counts down to zero.

The latest bin files for the 3500 have the auto roll feature that will find the new keys for you automatically. You won't have to enter the new keys anymore.

The keys are the same for ALL receivers. It doesn't matter which brand name you have. Keymaster and KeyRipper will get the keys for you without any problem but it takes a few hrs for those programs to update the keys. You just have to wait a while.

Hey Jerry
What is the latest Bin file that we should be using? I am using X-05BL_070104_B80_306_api

Are the keys changing because of the Super Bowl on Sunday or because it is the beginning to a new month? I noticed we had to enter a new Bin file at the begining of Jan, Dec and Nov. Is this something that we should expect?

CPK2006

Thanks

If you click the link and it times out, just keep trying. Everyone wants the file and the site is slow. This is for the 3500 receiver.

After the timer counts to ZERO (0), The zero will be replaced by the words DOWNLOAD FILE. Click on those words and the download will start.

HI Jerry

I tried installing the new Bin via my smart media card. This has work every other time! After loading the main menu says that we have bin file: X-05BL API February 1

When we go to watch TV the screen says waiting for picture and the percentage keeps going up.

What's up?

CPK

Thanks

In some cases you may need to do a factory reset in the menu and then rescan the sats. In other cases, it is sometimes necessary to load the factory bin file first and then the latest updated bin file. What this does is clear out old junk files and allows the new file to work better. This isn't something you need to do everytime but does help when problems are encountered. Factory files can be found at PansatUSA web site.

Hi jerry I was checking my signal strength before scanning in my birds, I noticed 2 sats, echo3 and echo 9 had very good signal strength (as good as echo 7 and 8.6. What do they have, should I do a blind scan on either or both. Do they have west coast feeds?

You may just be getting signal feedback from your other 2 sats. Echostar 3 is at 61.5W and Echostar 9 is at 121W. picking up signal from them would depend on how close your dish is already aimed. For example if you are aimed at the sat at 119W you may possibly pick up 121W if your dish is off slightly and towards 121W, but my guess is you are just picking up the same signal you already have.

When I got my first Pansat receiver and didn't know much about FTA, It was showing I had sats 110 and 121. I really had 110 and 119 but didn't have the receiver set up right. It was working great but with the wrong information showing. I was told on one of the other forums that sat 121 was a weak signal and needed a bigger dish than I had so I probably had 119. They were right. If you want to see the channel lineup of Echo3 and 9 just do a Google for each and Lyngsat should come up with a channel list.

Here is a link for a 3500 setup guide. You will need Adobe reader to open it once you download it. This is for installing the new bin files. If you just need the key numbers, then download either Keymaster or Keyripper off the 2 links below my signature. Unzip them to your desktop and click them whenever you need new keys. They are usually updated within a few hrs of a change.

If you join http://www.future-fta.info you can download any new file update from there as they come out.

Ok i am a bit new i understand that i can load Bins so that i don't have to keep entering keys all the time.
Current i don't have the ability to load bins so i am force to manually enter the Keys. So i downloaded the KeyripperV3.1 and it displays 4 keys. Two for Dish two for BEV my question is, If i have a pansat 3500sd which set of keys do i use??

The link I listed a few posts back is a setup guide that should explain the basics on installing a bin file. Its not hard at all and after the first couple of times it takes less that 5 minutes to do.

Hi Jerry,

I have a problem. I was viewing my movies and all of a sudden the system went down. The whole power supply of my pansat shut off. I had to get it fixed. Someone was telling me that I got booted?? I really don't know what he was trying to tell me. Do you know how I can fix this and prevent it from happening again?
