Use umdgen, you can download it here: http://www.umdgen.com just go to the utilities page then get the latest version 3.01, when u get it open the iso with that then click the search button at the top, it will search for dummy files and resize them to 0kb thus making ur iso smaller..

I use ISO Shrink....does the same thing. Doesnt seem to make much difference to some games. Depends how many dummy files there are.
For example, I shrank Pro Evo 5 but it only ended up removing 23mb.
Where as GTA ran through ISO shrink gets reduced by about ten times that....

You can also rip out foreign languages and multiplayer stuff, and if you want to you can rip out the videos in the games.
I don't think the iso of Pursuit Force works. The UMD only works through the Genesis UMD Launcher 2.6.
Neither the iso or the UMD of Splinter Cell work on 1.5 either.

Splinter cell doesnt work as of yet, but you can compress any game, but obviously theres no point if it dont work yet..

Usually the dummy files are named pad0 or pad1
However im not to sure on all games for this method.
Your best bet is to Get umdripper and umdgen
http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/11 1.Extract ISO with WinRAR youll get PSP_GAME
2. Point UMDripper to PSP_GAME folder and rip the dummy data
3. Darg n Drop PSP_GAME & UMD_DATA.bin to right hand side of UMDgen
Sometimes to keep things peaceful you need a Piece thats Full

Couldn't you just use a specific game ripkit for the actual psp game?
PS2 Slimline + Swap Magic + Fan
PS3 60gb Version 1.90
PSP 3.52 M33 EUR Black Version + Logitech Hard Case + Logitech 3 Sound Speakers + 2gb Sony Memory Stick
Nintendo Wii + 3 Wii&Nunchuck Controllers
NDS Original + M3 Simply + 1gb Kingston MicroSD
NDS Lite + M3 Simply + 2gb Sandisk MicroSD

The reason i dont like ripkits is
1. You dont have a choice of what your ripping eg if the guy who made the ripkit set it to rip music then you will have no music.
2. You need different ripkits for different games, if its GTA then youll need GTA ripkit
if its Need 4 speed then youll require need 4 speed ripkit whereas with the umdripper it will work for every iso you have saving you going to look for the ripkit.

I prefer individual in my opinion though cause:
1) More easier to pick out what you want and shows what it will rip it to.
2)Different Ripkits to choose to rip to different levels whereas UMD Ripper's can only rip into 1 type.
3) It really doesn't take long to rip it where as the original umd rippers have to scan the iso and takes a while

Hey people are entitled to thier opinions
1. Ripkits are not very newby friendly IMO, since the people who are asking might be abit confused already i want to give them the simplest solution possible, UMDripper also shows what the size will be after
2.I dont understand what you mean there but if you mean ripping out levels/stages out of the game why would anyone want to do that? i bet its one of the ripkit users who stuffed up harry potter and the goblet of fire level 2/3
3. The longest process of UMD ripper or umdgen is the rebuilding of the iso, unless ripkits dont need this then im pretty sure the time difference wouldnt be too great, i cant remember a rip ever taking me more then 3 minutes.

Whats so hard about double clicking the read me and follow, or double clicking the .BAT file in the ripkit?

Nah I meant Different levels of space, basically this is what I mean,
Tony Hawk Remix 658mb ripkit
Tony Hawk Remix 400mb ripkit
And so on and so on...

Well I guess you waste 3 mins of your life instead of using those three minutes to do something useful like watching porn :)
And when I said Check and Mate, Now King me, I really should of put quotation marks on them as those very same words were taken off a chracter known as Homer Simpson from the very popular animation cartoon called "The Simpsons".
Now that that's done, let me say it once and for all,
"Check and Mate"....."Now King me!"

How many programs have readmes? almost all of them. If every1 understood readme files we would have alot less questions
Next time someone has a problem with one you can ask them.

Tony Hawk Remix 400mb ripkit
Its the same thing with umdripper want it smaller? rip more stuff
Why would you pick the bigger ripkit over the smaller one?
Quote: Well I guess you waste 3 mins of your life instead of using those three minutes to do something useful like watching porn :)
So how long does it take a ripkit? i didnt know i had the watch the process bar, i usually just leave it and watch tv or play my psp
LOL no wonder, i wouldnt say things Homer says without "The kwik e mart is Do'h" - Homer J Simpson @ the end
Now before we continue this
Lets recap on how this started, i gave instructions to shrink and you asked "couldnt he just use a ripkit?"
I gave my opinion and you gave yours.
everyone is entitled to an opinion, its the Check and Mate, Now King Me XD that made me reply back.
Making statements like that denounces that your post is the more correct post or correct procedure, it might be/ it might not be but thats up to the poster to decide which method they want to use.
Im sure if i said Pwnt! at the end of my messages it would not be too pleasant. Respect is what im saying here, respect others messages and opinions.
