Here's a way to get your music on there. Plugged into your usb port, goto: Start/MyComputer/ and it should show up as a removable drive. Open that up and upon where you have your music stored on your puter, drop and drag files from your puter into your player. My girlfriends daughter has one and thats how i did it. It playes just fine but the damn thing wont keep charged for very long no matter how long it's been plugged in into a powersourse. Using the free AMV Convert Tool to change mpeg vids to AMV and it does fine!

Hi There thankyou everyone for there help. I did the way you said again wiped everything off and started again. Anyway it only let me put 4 songs on. My sister in law bought one off the same person and she came round last night with hers and we managed to put 100 songs on! cut a long story short ours only held 17m and said device full. so i have a faulty one. I am gonna see if the ebay seller will exchange it for me. I hope so. Hopefully he does and the next one will be fine. Many thans for all your help and speak soon

Snoopy, can you downgrade your upgrade to what you had before? If you want, try to format your player and see if it will start back up and play again.

dawnibbi,
reformat it and see if that helps any.
Snoopy,
Plug it into your puter (hopefully your running XP), click Start/ControlPanel/PortableMediaDevices and it should show up there.

Snoopy,
Do you have sp2 installed or sp1? I don't think sp1 has that in it's control panel.
