Whats with these jewel-case price increases? Havent bought any in 2 months, last week I glanced at the Memosux in wallyworld, the 50pack I had paid 9.99 for was now 12.99 and some other brand, HP i think. They must be made out of crude oil ...Guess I could've recycled those imations I cooked last week lol.
Jasper44 I like your assessment : Garbage!
(they did have that "Stupid Girl" song tho

Those verbs should be 16x. The 8x verbs-very sweet-are getting harder to find. Locally,Sam's club would be one of the few stores that may have the 8x speed verbs-or on the net. But, the 16x verbs are very impressive!
I'll agree with the slim case prices gone up. I usually get the buy1/get 1 free at Office max for $25. Now they're $28. I can't see driving 40 mins to get them at OM. I can go over to Odd Lots and get 25 pks for $4= 16 cents each. Not too bad.

saugmon- I've used those slim jewel cases early on but never really cared much for them for Dvd's atleast ! Used mine mainly for VCD'S I made with my Terapin VCD/Audio CD recorder ! But I understand everyone has diiferent needs and wants and uses what works for them ! which is the way it is & ought to be ! Myself I prefer DVD cases either fullsize or Slimline ( VERBATIMS) for the added protection they offer Not that I'm haphazard & rough with my burned dvd's but Grand kids visit! ect . Not to mention putting up family when hurricanes head towards New Orleans ! besides as our Buddy JVC would say " FREE IS FREE " dvd cases that is care of your local Blockbuster dumpster! Anyway saugmon That's just my opinion & choice and everyone has the right & ability to use whatever works for them ! Good luck LIL' GREEN GUY ! & happy Burning!

G-Dizzle- Have been looking at supermediastore for the listing on the taiyo yuden you mentioned ^ have'nt been able to find it! Probably do to my own stupidity but- here's what I can tell you ! Assuming You are comparing Taiyo Yuden & verbatims premium media ! they should be about what and what quality wise ! Taiyo Yuden makes a Valueline of Media ! No it's not bad or bootleg It just does'nt measure up to Taiyo's Own High standards when measured on some extremely expensive equipment that your average or even above average computer afficianado would not have ! THe Valueline media will have tyhe same MEDIA CODES as their Premium Media of the same speed ) TY-GO1, TYG-02, ect. ) The Value line media is generaly Tape or shrink wrapped ( Rather well I might add ) where as the PREMIUM Line media will most often come in a cakebox instead! but may also come in shrink wrap/tape wrap as well !The upshot being that the premium is more expensive than the Value line media !IN either case Taiyo yuden is excellent media ! As is verbatim ! Not having samples of either in printable format to compare The prinatble surfaces for whiteness and brightness to get an idea on how the finished disc will look image wise ! I would say you probably could'nt go wrong with Either ( A COP OUT I KNOW!!!) That being said then I would go with whichever you could get the best deal on if It were me ! Hope this helps a little ! IN anycase Good Luck & happy burning ! You might also check Kivory 666/Doc Ty's posting on Taiyo Yuden media for more Specific & more eloquently explained information on the Taiyo Yuden Media - Peace *
Official docTY Taiyo Yuden thread...Q&A welcome~

I checked out the Office Max E-flyer and they had the Epson R-220 printer for $79.99 and you get a $10 gift card-probably have to send in for that gift card?
They also had a 1 gb flash drive for $29.99 with no rebate.
Not a very good sale's week indeed!
