can the dvd shrink, shrink file you have download through the internet such as mpeg or is just for files that are dvd format.

You will have to convert your file to DVD compliant files for Shrink to work.

You will have to use another program to do that my advice would be to go to a shareware/freeware site and download a multimedia program and use it to convert the file for you.

Convert it to a video ts file then load it into DVD Shrink.

You can try Cucusoft Mpeg to Dvd Author (freeware).

You can also do it through Nero if you have the program using NeroVision Express. Or VSO ConvertXtoDVD can be used, I think there is a trial of the program.
