Hey dudes,
I'm currently using (and have been using for quite a period) DVD shrink 2.3. Not long ago i made the switch to 3.2 and wasn't really that impressed - on face value it seems very close to version 2.3, with some annoying omissions (such as the user friendly grid lines :S). Basically the only thing that seems to have changed is its appearance. Is there any significant difference between the two versions that would make it advantageous for me to use 3.2? Are there any other versions apart from these two, as they are the only ones i can seem to get my filthy hands on lol.

Was just wondering if maybe the new one has better copyright removal/decryption or something like that. If this topic has already been discussed (i did use the search function!) then could someone direct me to the thread - i dont wann astep on any toes being a newbie and all!! Cheers.

DVD Shrink has not been updated for several years now and will no longer be updated.

It does have problems with newer movies with ACross and Ripguard protections but can still be used effectively with a program such as AnyDVD running in the background.

If you are going to use it, I would suggest using the latest version available.

@Timmy1970

As you can see from the change long waynekusa provide there has been over twenty updates to this program since the version you were using. The newest and last version is the best one to use.
