You mentioned Orange being the original network for that phone. Could you please verify the exact name of the network before Orange took it over?

Only try the code once and once only!!!
Please remember you only get 3-5 attempts before your mobile becomes hardlocked.
If you have already tried different codes before mine your mobile could already be hardlocked.
If it is hardlocked you will get one the following messages Can Not Undo Restriction / Not Allowed
If you mobile is hardlocked the only way to unlock it is by taking/sending it to a professional unlocker.
Please make sure the information you give is correct before typing in the code.
Here is your code: #pw+345676060213567+7#
If the mobile gives no response/no message then do the following: Insert a non accepted sim, press the undo button, a box should appear saying enter restriction code, enter the code given and press ok

I would also like to unlock my Nokia 1600. I specifically asked the saleswoman whether it was possible to unlock this phone and she told me that the codes for it are easily available all over the internet. No luck as yet. It seems that each individual phone has a different code?
Anyway, I would really appreciate your help with this, as I would like to use the phone in Indonesia next week. Here's the details:

OZ phones are hard enough. Lost tries makes it almost impossible.
I think most Auzi phones only have three tries.
Each phone is unique. Unlock codes are unique for each phone.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I followed the instructions and came up with a "Code Error" and big green tick. I had tried to enter a few codes from other websites so maybe I've already entered the limit?
I'm leaving the country first thing tomorrow...I wonder if there are many stores with a professional unlocker in Indonesia?
