lol, well i am banned so if we come up with something that sounds solid ill do it. But im stuck on error 6 right know and my mod chip doesnt boot before my hard drive so im going to try and use xboxhdm do you know if this will help?

i might be wrong but i think error 6 is a locked harddrive, do you still get the xbox logo and the white microsdoft underneath it when you turn your xbox on?

that might have been what got you the error code?
oh and back to the unbanning subject, do you happen to have an hdd that isnt the stock hdd installed in your xbox (upgraded)?

when you installed it did you use the stock hdd's key to make it so it locks. and if so, was that before you got banned from live?

naw i installed a modchip it had an option to upgrade hdd it preps the drive then you lock it and thats it it worked fine

perhaps thats how you got banned, the new hdd didnt have the same serial code as the old one. when you first log onto live, it takes your hdd's serial into account. so when you upgraded your hdd, it didnt have the same serial code as the old one?
