NP lads.
I thought i had upgraded my psp, when the psp booted up..i had never used Dev hook before..and my psp was on charge..oh no...lol
EDIT:Those prx shoudl work mate..they worked for MLB...

Any chance this is gonna be fixed in future releases bombayboy. I much as love knockin ppl out in Fight Night, i have almost updated bout 5 times. Knowin me, its gonna happen sooner or later:(

hey bombay guy im afraid they havent as stated above my problem is very annoying
i got it to work well then when it asks whether you want to enable auto save, after clicking yes or no it crashes after that. By crashes i mean a black screen appears and if i click home it gets stuck at please wait....

get an iso from a 1.5 game, extract all the prx's with UMD DGen, and replace evry one that u can. Any 1.5 game will work

If being put on the 2.5 browser issue will be sorted out, i have been lucky enough to not upgrade so far, but im really pushing my luck LOL. I tend to push buttons b4 I think.

everytime i start my psp it say taht i have to press that O button all the time and the psp crashes big time i press home none happen

i replaced with tale of eternia + dbz prx and now the game gets a black screen after the umd boot screen after loading devhook ;
btw settings im using are
UMD Select: Select Your iSO File
UMD Mount: ISO ANYUMD
Firmware: 2.50+2.00
Boot Select: Reboot XMB
UMD Version: 2.XX -> 2.00 (set it, or you will get a 2.6 error)
CPU Clock: 222 MHz

Dont know if it will help, but change the CPU lock to higher.

just to note, CPU at 333 will disable any wifi functions.

Yes, u must replace prx's, this is the only method to get Capcom Classics, Fifa, and splinter cell (among others) to work. There are plentyl of links in this thread for prx's.

thanks to some help from svtstang, i got splinter cell essentials working.
prx files taken from battlefront, and renamed into all UPPERCASE, even the .PRX, as they are in cell.
ripped to files using UMDgen, replaced prx files, used rip kit to shrink it down to ~800MB, made ISO with VCDrom 3.6, devhook .041 on 333mhz mode, and rest of the settings as stated in readme.
!!!!!! good stuff... !!!!!!
